Description

The African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP), and the United States Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), through the Africa Women and Youth Empowerment Group (AWYEG) and in collaboration with the Corporate Council on Africa, will engage African women entrepreneurs to discuss the programs of the U.S. government and the role of the private sector, in facilitating the success of African women entrepreneurs to attract investment and participate in U.S./Africa trade.  

The Special Session will include two panels on the following: 

Panel 1: USG and Private Sector Programs to Support Women and Diaspora (10:50 -11:50 AM)
Panel 2: Africa Investment Opportunity Types, Processes and Framework (12:00- 1:10 PM)
