Mr. Lonely Mogara is an accomplished leader who possesses a wealth of experience in leadership, change management, investment attraction & export development gained from his days at Botswana Export Development & Investment Authority and Botswana Investment and Trade Centre where he pioneered the Special Economic Zone reform in Botswana. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Mathematics) from the University of Botswana, and an MBA (MIS) from Syracuse University, New York, USA.

He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Special Economic Zones Authority Botswana in 1st April 2020. SEZA is responsible for establishing, developing and managing Special Economic Zones in Botswana.
