                                                    A graduate of the prestigious World Maritime University in Swen- den and the University of London, Mr Mowlid Aden is currently an Ad- visor to Djibouti Ports & Free Zones Authority (Authority in charge of regulating, developing and managing maritime and freezones infrastruc- tures in the Republic of Djibouti). Mr. Aden brings with him vast experi- ence in the Maritime and Logistics Industry in both the Public and Private sectors across Africa and the Middle East Region. With more than 15 years of working with leaders of Ports and Freezones Operators and managing Operations in different facilities. 
Mr. Aden has been actively involved in various high-level associations in the Africa Region and Djibouti Government bodies including time as an Advisor to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Djibouti. He has been a delegate to a number of international conferences on various sub- jects including Regional Economic Integrations through Infrastructures Author and International Consutant his professional interests and research focus on Trade & Logistics, SEZs and Free Trade Zones, Multimodal Transport, Belt and Road impact on Africa. He has published several arti- cles and contributed to books on the Maritime Subjects and currency pur- suing an executive MBA @ the “Ecole de Guerre Economique de Paris”.
