Countries in Africa continue to face significant challenges in the quest for development. From poverty to insecurity, and lack of basic infrastructure, the continent's development has been slow and uneven. However, in recent times, there has been a growing interest in innovative finance strategies to bridge funding gaps necessary to achieve sustainable development goals while generating financial returns. This panel discussion seeks to explore the potential of innovative financing mechanisms such as impact investing, development impact bonds, etc. in driving sustainable development.
