Description

The 2026 U.S.-Africa Business Summit opens with a formal ceremony that sets the strategic tone for three days of high-level dialogue, deal-making, and partnership-building.  CCA leadership, senior officials from the United States government, host country Mauritius, and the African Union will deliver remarks that frame the Summit’s central theme—Advancing New Frontiers in U.S.-Africa Prosperity. The ceremony underscores the commercial imperative driving deeper U.S.-Africa engagement: a continent of 1.4 billion people, the world’s fastest-growing working-age population, and an integrated market being unlocked by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). It signals to investors, companies, and governments assembled in Mauritius that the relationship between the United States and Africa is entering a new phase—one defined less by aid and more by trade, investment, and mutual economic advantage.
