REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING AN ENTRY VISA TO REPUBLIC OF ANGOLA
ABOUT VISA:
The Government of the Republic of Angola intends to provide the necessary migration support to all participants of the 17th Business Summit U.S.-Africa.

For those participants which nationality are not included in the list above mentioned, the government of Angola, created two options to obtain the entry visa for the Summit, as per the most convenient way, according to the following information.
- VIA ORDINARY VISA
The ordinary visa is granted by Angolan diplomatic and consular missions to foreign citizens and is intended to allow entry into Angola for family reasons and business prospecting. The ordinary visa must be used within 60 days after the date of its granting and allows its holder to stay for up to 30 days and may be extended twice, for the same period. The ordinary visa does not allow its holder to establish residence in Angola, nor to carry out any paid activity.
For those attendees who have Angolan embassies and consulates in their home countries, can proceed to these entities and apply for the Angola entry visa and provide the necessary documentation, including the (support letter) and the registration confirmation.
- VIA BORDER VISA
The Border visa is granted by the Immigration Authority at Border Posts and is intended to allow attendees who for any unforeseen reasons, have not requested an entry visa at the angolan consular posts. The Border Visa is valid for one entry and allows the beneficiary to remain in Angola for a period of 15 days, which cannot be extended. The Border Visa does not allow its holder to establish residence in the country, nor to engage in any remunerated activity.

- Filled digital visa form (click here)
- Copy of the passport
- Copy of the Summit registration confirmation
Before starting the visa application process, the applicant must ensure that has the following requirements:
1. A Passport valid for a minimum of one year, containing a minimum of four blank pages.
2. A recent photo with white background, suitable for official use and inserted into the digital visa form.
3. Please note that submitting these documents via the website will enable the Angolan authorities to decide on your application.

FOR U.S. CITIZENS
U.S. citizens do not need a tourist visa to visit Angola, as they can enter visa-free for up to 30 days at a time, with a maximum of 90 days per calendar year for tourism purposes; however, if traveling for business, work, or study, a visa is required in advance.
Key points about Angola visa requirements for US citizens:
- Visa-free entry: Allowed for tourist travel up to 30 days per entry.
- Maximum stay per year: 90 days total within a calendar year.
- Other travel purposes require a visa: Business, work, or study travel necessitate obtaining a visa beforehand.
VACCINATION
The only mandatory vaccination required for travel to Angola is the Yellow Fever vaccine.
