Mr. Thomas Kagiso Mmusi, the current Minister of Defence and Security, started his career at a tender age working with Motor Centre Group. He stayed with Motor Centre for a period of three years before embarking on his dream to become an entrepreneur running his own business enterprise. Purchasing ownership of Western Filling Station became his first stepping stone onto achieving his lifelong goal.

Several years of hard, honest work lead to the birth of Pula Holdings and it’s subsequent subsidiaries. Mr Mmusi is the Executive Chairman of Pula Holdings, an investments holding company which controls 100% of shares in all operating companies in the group.

Mr Mmusi is a Director and Shareholder of Pula International (Pty) Ltd.

Pula International is a Partner, Investor in Kalahari Energy (Pty) Ltd / Sekaname (Pty) Ltd.

Kalahari Energy is an Exploration and Mining Co. in Coal Bed Methane Gas. The same company has also been awarded rights to develop a 100 Mega Watt Power Station which will be powered by Coal Bed Methane in Botswana. This will be the first independent Power Producer Company in Botswana.

Pula International is a partner in Econet Wireless Global which is a shareholder in Mascom Wireless Botswana, the biggest mobile company in Botswana.
