Mpho Sebina is a Botswana-born and bred melodist and songwriter who has spread her wings across the African music scene over the past couple of years. Her sound is rooted in Soul fused with various elements from Setswana Folklore, RNB, Hip Hop , Dance Music etc. She’s performed for small acoustic audiences to large festival stages, the latest being the mainstage of MTN Bushfire in Swaziland May 2022. June 2022 she was in Nairobi Kenya on invitation by Google Africa Alte initiative, where she had been selected along with 29 other creatives across the continent, she also was invited to speak at The Music Imbizo conference, hosted in Durban (South Africa). It collects various music industry stakeholders under one roof to map new and exciting ways for the music industry in the African continent. It is a platform to exhibit, network, share expertise and knowledge whilst doing business.

October 2022 brought about her first AFRIMMA Nomination for best female Southern Africa Alongside Msaki,Makhadzi and Ammara Brown to name a few and the release of her setswana heartbreak ballad “Tsela Tshweu” . Mpho Sebina is a global music force with a voice that dances over melodic beats and production. She debuted her first project in 2017, a six track EP titled “Neo'' featuring the hit song ‘No Evil’ with over 1 million streams to dat . In 2020 she released her sophomore project and debut album entitled “Lora” to a well-received audience with standout songs ‘Dikeledi’ and ‘Dumelang’ of which the title track Lora was featured in an American Ballet Theatre production.

Her songs Love’s Light, Dumelang and Too Late for mama have been featured in all 3 seasons of Netflix acclaimed “Blood and Water”.

Mpho has achieved popular success as the feature artist on the Amapiano smash ‘Dinaledi’ and achieved her first award at the inaugural South Africa Amapiano Awards 2021 with ‘Dinaledi’ for ‘Best Video’. Also in 2021, Mpho was named Botswana’s Number 1 Lady in Music by youth radio station Yarona Fm. Mpho is an Alumni of Goethe Institut PopKultur held in Berlin and has proudly collaborated with various artists all across the world as well as the American Ballet Theatre on one of their solo work productions of 2021.

2022 ended with her bagging 3 Botswana Music Awards which will be held in Gaborone December 3rd 2022 including Best RNB, Album of the Year and Best International Achievement. In 2023 she woman Female Music Artist of The Year at Women's Awards Botswana held in Gaborone.
