Masego Mohwasa, a 30-year-old independent filmmaker from Botswana, is a talented and versatile professional in the motion picture industry. With a background in creative concept design, directing, and public speaking, she graduated from AFDA Botswana, the country's leading film school. Over the past 6 years, she has excelled as a producer, director, screenwriter, actress, presenter, editor, and digital content specialist.

Masego's work delves into dark corners, illuminating themes of perspective, justice, and acceptance. While she has made notable appearances on TV shows and as a presenter, her true passion lies behind the scenes. Her films, including award-winning works like "Gobe: The Gift" and "Thanya," have garnered recognition in Botswana, South Africa, and the United States. Masego made history as one of the first Batswana women to showcase her catalog of eight short films at New Capitol Cinemas in 2020. She has also directed captivating short films like "Cradle" on ShowMax and notable TV commercials for prestigious clients such as Multichoice, FNB Botswana, Botswana Post, and Rhapsody's Botswana.
