Lungisa is currently the Chief Executive of the Standard Bank of South Africa (SBSA). Previously, he worked in the public service for 20-years in various roles, including being the Director-General at The National Treasury.
He sits on the SBSA Board, Stanbic Botswana Board, Standard Bank Group Exco, chairs the South Africa Executive Committee and its appropriate sub-committees and is also a Director of the Standard Bank Tutuwa Community Foundation.
Lungisa is the Chairperson of the Banking Association of South Africa Board, a member of the Business Leadership South Africa Board as well as a Council member for the Walter Sisulu University.
