                                                    Travis Adkins is the 10th President and CEO of the United States African Development Foundation (USADF), an independent government agency that invests in African small- and medium-size enterprises, entrepreneurs, and grassroots organizations.
Previously, Mr. Adkins served as Deputy Assistant Administrator for Africa at the U.S. Agency for International Development. He is also a lecturer of African and Security Studies at the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Travis Adkins has worked in more than 50 nations across Africa and the Middle East, focusing on issues related to governance, education, humanitarian affairs, as well as women’s and youth empowerment.
