While precise continent-wide figures are elusive, it's estimated that African startups raised $2.2 billion in 2024, showcasing the substantial investment appetite in the ecosystem. However, funding can fluctuate year to year. For instance, January 2025 saw a notable surge in funding, reaching $289 million, indicating a potentially positive trend.
